Part-time Library Director Needed in Iron Ridge Wisconsin

Quiet and peaceful Iron Ridge is located in South Central Wisconsin in Dodge County and is looking for dedicated and energetic candidates for their part-time Library Director opening. The Director will report to a five-member Board of Trustees and is responsible for the management of the library. Responsibilities include collection development, children’s programming, community outreach, fund raising, and preparing documents and reports for monthly meetings and state requirements. Candidates shall possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be an independent worker. Outside the box budget planning is also a plus.

Candidates must be eligible for a Wisconsin Grade III certification. This includes a minimum of 54 semester credits in liberal arts and sciences from a college or university approved by an accrediting association of more than statewide standing. The hours are 10-22 per week.

Due to a retirement and an internal promotion Slinger Community Library is seeking two Circulation Clerks!

We are seeking fun, energetic, and service-oriented individuals to join our team!  The individuals for this position must provide excellent customer service through assisting patrons at the circulation desk and over the telephone, checking-out, checking in materials, collecting fines, shelving and processing materials, and providing reader’s advisory. Excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with patrons of all ages, and high comfort level with technology required. High School diploma or equivalent, demonstrated proficiency with computers and library experience preferred.

This part time Circulation Clerk position averages 15 hours/week. A set schedule will be created upon employment but flexibility is key!  Generally, this position will entail 3, 4-5 hour shifts per week and 1 Saturday per month. Library hours are Monday-Thursday 9 am – 7 pm, Fridays 9 am – 5 pm and Saturdays 9 am – 12 pm.
